I’m a location photographer based near Portland, Oregon. I’ve been photographing professionally since that first TV commercial aired introducing something called the Mac.
I like to shoot a variety of subjects: abstracts, architecture, urban and rural landscapes, music and the performing arts. My long-term interest in Japan finds me there often, photographing the ancient and modern faces of the country and culture.
Design and simplicity are two elements I strive for in my photography. Sometimes I’m successful, but many times not. The pictures on this site are the ones I think I got right. But don’t worry, I can show you plenty of mistakes if you’re interested.
