I’m a location photographer based near Portland, Oregon. I’ve been photographing professionally since, well, the airing of that first Mac commercial.
I like to shoot what attracts my eye visually and aesthetically: abstracts, architecture, urban and rural landscapes, music and the performing arts. My long-term interest in Japan finds me there often, photographing the ancient and modern faces of the country and culture.
In my photography, design and simplicity are two important elements I always try to incorporate. Sometimes I’m successful, sometimes not. The pictures on this site are ones I think I got right. But not to worry, there are plenty of mistakes I can show you out back if you’re interested.
